All managers must complete this to get the mandatory first aid kit. Optionally, you can get an equipment bag. A $100.00 deposit is required if you add an equipment bag.
2018 spring registration fees:
*Shetland-4 (4yr) $85.
Shetland (5-6 yrs) $135.
Pinto (7-8 yrs) $160.
Mustang (9-10 yrs) $160.
Bronco (11-12 yrs) $160.
Pony (13-14 yrs) $185.
Family sibling discount is $50. per additional player. *No sibling discount for Shetland-4 division.
Each player is required to purchase a Raffle Ticket Fundraiser Booklet at time of registration. Booklet value is $100. Tickets can be sold for the Opening Day Raffle. Money from Raffle ticket sales is kept by parents. Stubs must be returned for drawing before Opening Day.
Yearbooks & full uniforms are provided to each player: Cap, jersey, pants, belt & socks.
Also, each player will receive team picture packet, if they were present on Picture Day. For players who register late, after February 3, 2018, we cannot guarantee you will have a uniform for photos or make team photos. We do not offer Picture make ups.
Awards are given to all Shetland-4 & Shetland players. Upper divisions must place to earn a trophy. Whittier Pony has no residence boundaries during spring season. However, Whittier Pony Baseball is a member of PONY Baseball's So Cal East Region. Any player chosen for post-season (All Stars) must provide proof that he/she reside in the East Region. East Region league map can be found at the PONY East Region Page tab, on the right side of our home page.

For your convenience, online registration is now available! Online payments are by credit/debit card only. For parents that would like to pay by cash, first register online, and then pay for the registration at our walk in dates listed on our website. Checks are not accepted. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON REGISTRATIONS OR RAFFLE TICKETS. Registration insurance is available to purchase at the time of registration. Insurance cost is 7% of registration total. Insurance policy details are available for you to read before you complete the order.
*All players are required to participate in our Raffle Ticket Fundraiser. It has been included in the registration and will be automatically added to your registration fee.
Online Registration and Raffle Tickets can be paid for in full, anytime, or by (3) automatic payments using our easyMerchant auto-pay system. The initial payment is a minimum of $100. per player. If choosing automatic payments, the second payment will be half the remaining balance and will be due on Dec. 15. The final payment is due by Jan. 15 (prior to make up tryouts). All players are required to sell 20 Raffle Tickets @ $5. each. Paying for the League Raffle Ticket Fundraiser, in advance, allows us to avoid collecting ticket monies from parents. Now, when you sell your raffle tickets, you will keep the proceeds from from tickets sold to recoup your $100. per player. Any unsold tickets will give you a chance to win cash & merchandise on Opening Day.
Raffle Tickets will be available to pick up at "Walk in Dates" posted on the website. Parents are responsible for picking up their tickets. Raffle ticket stubs must be returned prior to Opening Day. There are no refunds on raffle tickets.
**NEW PLAYERS TO WHITTIER PONY MUST ALSO PROVIDE A COPY OF CHILD’S BIRTH CERTIFICATE AT WALK IN DATES.
We are seeking quality managers in all divisions. Experience is preferred, but not required to manage a team. Please register as a Manager/Coach on our website at whittierpony.org and complete the background check. We have combined our background check service to our online manager/coach/volunteer registration system. There is a cost of $10. for Adult Background Checks this 2018 season.
Games are played at Granada Middle School and York Field.
